The school, which my son attends, has come up with a rule, which states how long a parent may stay at the school. Is that legal.

Your kids are lucky my mom can't go to school with me most of times because she works. We're from Vietnam. And my mom has to work hard for money to pay debts, and bills. I'm 11 and I try to tell her and make her stay home more than once a week I miss her an awful lot so I always cry when I think of her. At home I get scared at night because moms not there. It might seem funny because I'm 11 but not to me. My mom thinks so though but she still loves me. She works far so I think she might get hurt sometimes coming home because she comes home late. I pray to god every night for her and dad too. I spend alot of time with my dad but it's not as special as time with my mom.

I think it's a great idea but you make some good points. I do lunch duty and I get to interact with my son and his eachers. I think if parents take the time to study with their children after school. I disagree with lableing parents as "not involved", many parents have to work very hard to give their kids a good life.
