On my recent stumbling around, I found Alli’s Paper-Covered Pen Tutorial at One Pearl Button.

Alli’s tutorial takes you through the easy steps to transform a plain Bic into something chic. These paper-covered pens would make great little office gifts from a crafty elf.

What paper designs would you use for this projects?

That seems like a lot of work for pens…

  2. Joyce says:

Those would make pretty neat stocking stuffers!

  3. Sam says:

My mom collects pens, especially weird ones. I know what she’ll be getting this Christmas! Thanks, Peggy!

  4. Peggy says:

Sam, you’re welcome. Great to see you. Or hear from you, rather… I hope your Mom gets a cool pen.

Joyce, hello! You know, I did decide to go ahead and donate a flock of chickens after reading your post about Heifer last night. I had been on the edge of it anyway… : )

Darcie, it’s worth a try though. I thought that they would make nice personalized gifts.

How very clever! You need REALLY tiny patterns or thin stripes would look cool. Maybe even a slanted stripe for a candy cane look.
