Spread The Love

At times, when one is under the weather, (like a certain Offbeat blogger I know) that’s all we can do. So, let’s see what the rest of my b5 pals are up to…
Noel over at Unplugged Living has a cool post about how one of the biggest offbeat cities on the planet is doing their part to stay green.
If it’s home decorating news you’re after today then check out how to mix and match your home furnishings with Maricar at Keeping The Castle.
Once you’ve got your home nice and decorated why would you ever want to leave? Mary Emma over at HomeBizNotes has a bit of a round up herself that will help you to plan your own stay at home business.
Or maybe you’re sick of staying home. If it’s time to get out, why not consider a cool agrotourism and farm holiday in Taiwan. Ruth at Let’s Visit Asia has the 411 on these and other great vacations.
In just plain neat ideas, Wade Meredith at Healthbolt is offering up this for your viewing pleasure: “Since 1976, every year on June 17th the Diego family has photographed themselves. the result is a voyeuristic look into one of the most personal and universal aspects of all of our lives: aging.” Take a look and think about starting your own family photo diary.
Last but not least, Heather at Chocolate Bytes has a chocolate Han Solo for all you Harrison Ford junkies (okay, me).
Tomorrow I hope to be over the weather instead of under it and I’ll be serving up some interesting pretend offbeat homes. So stay tuned.

What a nice round-up you’ve put together, Jennifer. Thanks for including the Home Biz Notes post. You have such a creative way of combining home decorating, love of home, and home business.
Ahh, thanks for the nice comment! It makes poor sick me feel a little better.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! Hope it’s over quick.
Great links–I particularly loved the family photos over time. Such a smart think to do! It was fascinating to see the subtle changes over time. And weird stuff–like the two oldest sons growing to look more and more like each other as they grew up. Thanks!
Thanks Heather & Crabby, I’m sure I’ll be better soon. Lots of tea and what not. And the family photos are very cool. When my son was born I did the same sort of thing; when he was three days old I took a picture of him with a specific teddy bear — each month after I took another. By his first year he had grown up and over the bear. It’s really cool to look at. But sadly we’ve stopped. At six he thinks he’s too old to pose with a bear. Can you imagine later on, me trying to get a sixteen year old to pose with the bear! Good we stopped now.
I hope you’re feeling much better today.
Thanks for the link love.
You are very welcome. And thanks, I am feeling a little better. I think if I ever get some sleep this lingering cold will clear right up. (ever, being the operative word).
Jennifer,
You got me thinking, after reading your comments about me above. So I had to continue the discussion in a post on my Home Biz Notes blog:

Thanks for the inspiration!
