Spring has finally sprung

Our snow is melting – finally. Temperatures are slowly climbing out of the freezing level. Yesterday my oldest rode her bike for the first time since last year, my youngest pointed out happily chirping birds, and all four of us went to the park for an hour.
It’s finally Spring and now I’m really looking forward to the end of the school year so we can sleep in, play outside, and enjoy the lack of snow together.
How’s your weather?
Oh, we’re getting glimpses of spring, too. Last Monday Reid was on her bike in a short-sleeved shirt. On Sunday she needed a toque and mitts but today a spring jacket will do. This is spring in Ottawa.
