Just one more time I feel like a circus freak I suppose. MArc is very uncomfortable with these subjects,a s he has said, and we had never really discussed it so I think he was a little freaked... Women our age tend to be too worried about what is o.k. and what is not o.k...and we are missing out on great sex for both ourselves and our spouses. Nowhere in scripture does it say "thou shall not use sex toys". But...people are afraid to try them for fear of being thought of as a "Bad girl" or in the case of men, "too perverted". I think spouses won't discuss these things for fear the partner is horrified and disgusted. You know, when I cook I used a pretty stinking nice mixer that cost me 400.00. I can mix dough by hand but the mixer makes it fun and easy. Is it more spiritual or more morally correct to mix the dough by hand? People are shocked because these things seem to belong to the porn industry but why? Geez..they go through a lot of pennicillian for STDs in the porn industry but no one I know has refused pennicillian because a porn star used it! Can you tell this is a soapbox issue for me? I want to scream! The enitre country is made up of frustrated, sexually repressed people! No wonder there is so much violence. I am seriously here with tears in my eyes, not because no one commented but because we have been given such an awesome gift from God, the gift of pleasure, intimacy, and love and we act like it is a maggot encrusted pork chop.
