Static Air Filters

I know I said I was going to post a tool review today but I forgot to charge my battery so I will have to do it tomorrow, it is charging right now!

So instead I wanted to talk to you about static air filters for your furnace verses the normal filters most people use.

Unlike a regular furnace filter a static filter for starters is washable, which means you never have to replace it once you have purchased it, and it sells for around 50 dollars or so depending where you are. They also remove close to 99% of air born dust as well, which really makes a difference in the quality of your homes air. If you don’t have an Hepa Filter, and can’t afford to get one installed a static filter is your next best thing.

I notice a huge difference in my home with dust, or the lack there of when my filter is clean and working normally. Maintenance is fairly simple as well. Once a month I pull it out and rinse it off in the shower to get all the build up off of it and the dust then I reinstall it. Another nice feature of this filter is the fact it catches animal hair unlike electric air filters, which don’t do much regarding that issue.

If you can’t find where to buy a static air filter try and call your local ventilation company as I am sure they can help you out.
