Do you love to make stuff?
Are you a Star Wars fan?
I think I have the perfect blend of both of those interests…

Stitch Wars is an exhibition of iconic characters from the Star Wars series of movies – done in knitting, crochet, felting and more. The exhibit happens in the 2nd floor gallery, Bear & Bird, above Tate’s in Lauderdale, Florida
“A long stitch ago in a Gallery not so far, far away, an alliance of crafty rebel artists was formed to honor the epic fantasy world of Star Wars. Wielding mighty tools of knitting and crochet, cutting through the great expanse of felt, these daring individuals used their handmade patterns of survival to restore freedom to the galaxy.”
If you can’t get out to Florida to see the show, you can see several of the pieces online at Flickr.
And you never know, if this exhibit is really well received – they could make “Revenge of the Stitch” as well…
