Stop Rocking Chairs from Migrating

 rocking chair

You have heard of birds migrating.

You have heard of ducks migrating.

You have even heard of geese migrating…but migrating rocking chairs?

When we rock in the rocking chair here at the house it is likely to steathily try to transport the rockee into another room.  Maybe it has had secret fantasies of being a portal to Narnia or maybe it is just possessed ..no clue.but it is very irritating!

To keep that from happening just glue pieces of weather stripping or run a line of hot glue down the rocker.  The texture will keep the chair right where it is supposed to be without damaging your floor.

Rock on!

Nice! I need a new rocking chair, mine is so old the one leg cracked. Used some wood glue on it, but still too worried to sit my big behind on it.

When I find another, I will definately use this trick. Thanks :-)

Like a great big swamp cow. Moo. :-)

Taking a break from cooking for a second. Had a ton of contractions yesterday and a few this morning. Wondering if Lucas is going to make an early showing.
