And, next up on the sick roster: my oldest child. The one with a basketball tournament all weekend, starting here in about an hour.
However, the middle one finally grew strep on the second culture. Yay! Those of you with children know exactly why I am cheering, we get medicine to make it better.
Don’t start with me about antibiotic resistance, I am a nurse, and, I am crabby this afternoon, I get it.
Please send amoxicillin spray, stat.
Strep all around this house this week! It was fantabulous. Not.
I would like to know when they will make an at home strep test!! It would save an awful lot of unnecessary trips to the pediatrician.
