Summer art time poll

I was a little surprised by the results of the summer poll: the majority of you said that you work on fun projects or new techniques, and that summer is your busiest and most productive time of the year! I honestly expected more votes for slowing down and going on vacation!
For me, the slowdown is January through March. It’s a time to regroup, and look at new ideas, projects, and products.
Spring and summer are just a series of shows, and after them comes Christmas! There’s not much time for relaxing in there. Plus, the weather is great (some of the time, lol) and gets your creative juices flowing.
Just my take on it.
Ahhh! We’ve still been bound by the school year for vacations, but that will end next summer
