Summer Travel Crafts

I’m one of those people who loves to have a crafty project to work on when I’m a passenger on a trip.  Of course, it’s not so safe if I’m the driver!

My travel project of choice is usually a bag full of yo-yo circles.  I pre-cut the circles and toss them into a bag with needle, thread and scissors.  They’re small, portable and light – my perfect travel craft :-)

There are a few things I look for in travel-friendly crafts.  They should be small, easily carried and not messy.  It should be fun to do – you’re not going to relax and enjoy yourself if you’re wrestling with a difficult pattern, right?  I also enjoy doing something that I don’t do every day as well.

So what’s your favorite summer travel craft?
