A Canadian judge overruled a father’s discipline. His daughter posted what he deemed to be inappropriate pictures of herself on the internet and her punishment was not being able to go on a three day class field trip. The daughter was angry and took him to court where a judge ruled that was an unfair punishment. The father is appealing.

Informative article. As a early childhood practitioner, I definitely agree with balancing the technology with real play experiences. More and more of the children I work with have tactile and gross motor challenges due to (my opinion) more emphasis on technology.
As mother of 2 tween girls, technology is here to stay. Don’t fight it, but make sure your kids are educated in the many beneficial applications. My daughters are taking classes in web design and e-commerce this summer.
oh…i forgot to mention that the show baby borrowers premieres tonight june 25th at 9pm on nbc for those of you who want to watch it…it’s a great show for moms like us…i highly recommend it…to learn about parenting…:)
