It is too bad I did not think of that first over on my food blog. :) I am gearing up to make 7-layer dip this weekend. I say, gearing up, because if you've ever made it, you know it takes for freakin' ever just to layer 7 things in your dish. I have no idea why, but it always takes me more than half an hour, and mostly it just involves opening cans and scooping stuff out. But I <i>love</i> 7-layer dip. Sadly, I have to fit in a bridesmaid dress NEXT Saturday, and I'm still about 5 lbs away. This is not going to be a pretty Super Bowl. This is an excellent point, about appetizer season.
