Today is my daughter Sarah’s 11th birthday. Thursdays are busy around our house with the usual homework and lessons (Sarah takes guitar on Thursdays), so I’m looking for something quick. Can’t get much quicker than this Chocolate Chip Bundt cake. sarah-michelleIt’s from the Mountain Laurel Inn, in Mentone, Alabama.

Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients:
1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
1 box vanilla instant pudding
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
Hershey’s mini morsels
sugar

Directions:

Put first 5 ingredients together and blend with mixer for 5 minutes. Stir in morsels. Spray Bundt pan with cooking spray and then coat with sugar. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
