Supernanny Invades Kansas!
Know any bratty kids in Hutchinson, Kansas? They just might be getting whipped into shape this very minute by Supernanny Jo!
The most exciting news? Supernanny is definitely returning! Shows will air again (finally!) on March 6th.
From the Wichita Eagle:
Sit up straight. Don’t talk back. And eat your veggies — with a smile, please.
Supernanny Jo Frost, who has made “naughty step” an international catchphrase, is coming to the Wichita area next week.
Frost will be filming an episode of ABC’s popular reality show, “Supernanny,” with a Hutchinson family of five.
ABC publicist Pat Preblick confirmed that Frost will be in Hutchinson on Feb. 10 for a preliminary assessment with the family, whose identity is being kept secret until Frost works her nanny magic.
“We like to keep the family under wraps until Jo has finished her work,” Preblick said.
Executive producer Craig Armstrong said the family was chosen about two weeks ago after he reviewed their videotaped application for help.
“We get a lot of submissions. Some of them we really have to muddle through but others we can see right away where we can help. That was the case here,” Armstrong said.
“They were really looking for some help with behavior and parenting,” he said.
This will be “Supernanny’s” first time in Kansas, he said.
Frost uses her child care skills and candid style to help troubled families resolve and cope with unruly children. Frost attributes her success to her ability to connect with children on their own level.
Filming takes about 10 days, Armstrong said.
“We spend a couple of days observing, then three or four days teaching,” he said. “We go away for a few days to see how they latch onto things. Then Jo comes back for one or two days for reinforcement.”
“Supernanny” will return to the ABC lineup at 9 p.m. Mondays beginning March 6. The air date of the Kansas episode was not available.

I can not wait until March 6th, 2006 at 9 p.m. …
