They also drive Brittany and Moriah to church and supposedly even after Supernanny nothing has changed at home. They are still being neglected. So that is a very sad thing to think about, and i hope they get taken to a better home where there are REAL parents. Like everyone else, my heart is broken for all of them. Having been a psychiatric nurse for many years, I've often seen the results of neglected and abused children. Where was he during all this? I would not be suprised to see these two seperating. They did not seem close and there was no sign of intimacy, for anybody in the home. Lets all remember it is easier to prove abuse than neglect. If social services were to come into the home they would draw up a safety and service plan, then monitor with one monthy visit and maybe talk to the children. But if it does not scale high enough then a call or letter will do. This is from a former SW, I too was often left with a bad taste in my mouth and lost sleep. The poor girl is ready for a break down.Who knows how much abuse has been done already.The parents used this show as a cover . My feeling is that this was their way of covering the real truth in this family. Jo has to have ulcers dealing with these mental midgets calling themselves parents. I think the show tried to put as much pressure as possible on the parents to continue the routine set forth by Jo, as I'm 100% certain the mom was not into it. I've seen call on many boards for CPS, but I think the best thing would be for Brittany to move out as soon as she turns 18 and to take Moriah with her. The two of them have more sense than either of their parents. In comparison, the Drake family had a pretty easy time of it.
