Supernanny UK Premiere NOT Coming to US

The recent Supernanny UK premiere featuring Steven Docherty and Kerry Hillhouse, the (in)famous swearing Scots, has caused more than a few of us American viewers to ask, “Will we get to see the show?” Particularly now that the couple have expressed their displeasure at how the show has treated them.

Well, I found someone on the inside to whom I could pose the question, and I got an answer… Here’s the straight deal from one of the show’s US casting producers.

While we have converted UK episodes in the past for broadcast here, the season premiere episode in the UK you wanted to know about is not scheduled at this time to be converted. If I should here otherwise, I will let you know.

It’s not the resounding yes many of us wanted, but there’s a glimmer of hope. We know what drives TV: Ratings! Perhaps if enough of us whine the powers that be will change their minds… that or they’ll send us all to the Naughty Step!
