Surprise, Surprise, Surprise

As I was on the web with Marye’s new laptop while keeping our littlest princess company I came across an article on a news site that alerted me.  In the day with a 70% divorce rate, someone took the time to research a long forgotten secret.  Duh!

Lets face it, in a world that God created.  He created man and woman.  A little side note here.  Did you ever notice that Adam was kinda hip.  He sees Eve and he called her Whoa man!  Over the years the colloquialism is lost and the King James scholars changed it to woman.  :)     Okay that was bad.  And now back to our regularly scheduled blog post.

The surprise is that someone had to research this.

Okay so it isn’t the biggest surprise you will ever run upon, and I’m not saying anything against blended families or single parent families.
It is interesting the author is an adopted child and incorporated that aspect into the study as well.
But yes, children will do best if raised in a household with their biological parents. There are and always be exceptions to the rules or norm, abusive home situations and the missing parent etc.

The Christmas Holidays, a time for family…

    I agree with you.

I also think it’s sad that there are special cases / exceptions, and tragic that those special cases are SO hard to identify.

    This is so true Dhave.

    Thanks for the comment!
