Well, if you’re expecting 7 kids and you get 8 – will you really notice a difference? (just kidding!)
A California couple was expecting to have septuplets, but when the Cesarean section was done, doctors found just one more little one hiding in the uterus after delivering baby number 7.
The 6 boys and 2 girls seem to be doing well – 2 are on ventilators. Born 9 weeks early, they weigh between 1 pound 8 ounces (680 grams) and 3 pounds 4 ounces (1.47 kg).
The mother says she plans on breastfeeding all of the babies. While I’m a huge proponent of breastfeeding, I’m just wondering how she’s going to manage. But if she can, more power to her!
