South Asians face a diabetes “time bomb” according to one source. They are six times more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes than other members of the UK population.

More information is needed to help people who may be pre-diabetic to start taking care of themselves and to watch out for the signs.

Now, one group has created a “Bollywood-style comedy” to help educate people about diabetes. The film is called Sweet Talk, and is about a middle-aged man who doesn’t eat well or take care of himself.

I’m for anything that educates people about the disease, and if it’s entertaining as well… hey, even better.
