Swimmers: Smooth As Dolphins

Let me point you to a couple other b5media posts. Swimmer (and Olympic GOLD medalist; way cool!) Scot Goldblatt, shared some news on technology and it’s use in speeding up swimmers: Using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics to Speed Up Swimmers
Well, that led S&H’s own Tris Hussey to ask, Just why do swimmers shave themselves? Of course, he answers his own question: “Get in the flow baby!”
Every wonder why swimmers shave off all their body hair? No, it’s not to look extra sexy in their suits (though … no I’m not going to go there). It’s all about laminar flow. While runners, bikers, and other athletes have to consider wind resistance, swimmers have to have a totally different side of physics to consider.

Thanks man! Smooth as silk. Or a baby’s butt or …
Let’s see, balding and I shaved my body hair… doubly smooth as silk.
I’m not bald but thats okay- I’m not much of a swimmer but I rap and make SUCH tight MUSIC! yeaaaa boiiiiiiiiiiiiii
