Tamales From Aldi

I don’t know if you have an Aldi in your area, but if you do, you definitely need to pick up the chicken and beef tamales they currently have on special. My husband loves tamales, so he was a bit leery about trying anything other than the fresh ones we get at the Milwaukee Public Market.

The Aldi brand are microwavable, and actually come out really great. I was very surprised. If you’re thinking of having a Cinco de Mayo celebration tonight with your family, be sure to stop off and pick up a bag of tamales. They’re going for $4.99 for a 24 oz bag. Not bad at all.
