I’m always happy to help with answering questions – I can’t guarantee an answer, but I’ll try :-)

I am a big fan of 1940s fashion. Do you have any ideas of where to find patterns, images, etc.?”

Don’t forget that Vogue has a pretty good collection of vintage patterns -  and it’s worthwhile checking through their discontinued patterns as well.

Barbara asks:

Would love to know the name of suppliers of shisha mirrors or very large sequins. Can anyone help?

I know for a fact that my local Michael’s Arts & Craft store carries them (in the miniatures section I think),  but they’re not labeled as “shisha mirrors”.  It’s worthwhile going into the store and doing a thorough search for yourself – I wouldn’t expect many salespeople to know what they are though :-)
