Terry Pratchett Speaks Out About Alzheimer’s Funding in Britain.

Best selling author Terry Pratchett, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, is speaking out about the ’shameful’ lack of funding to help fight Alzheimer’s.

Speaking at a conference of Alzheimer’s Researchers in Bristol this week, Pratchett said

“There’s nearly as many of us as there are cancer sufferers, and it looks as if the number of people with the disease will double within a generation. And, in most cases, alongside the sufferer you will find a spouse suffering as much. It’s a shock and a shame, then, to find out that funding for research is three per cent of that which goest to find cancer cures.”

My name is Andrew Havard & I run a charity in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. We are called ‘We’re All In This Together’ and we promote unsigned artists to help the cause. We create an annual CD featuring over 16 tracks of the best British unsigned bands and sell CD’s to raise money for the charity for just £5 with 70% of profits going straight to charity! We also put on shows with proceeds going straight to the Alzheimer’s Society.

We would love to contact Mr Pratchett to possibly colaberate on a project together.

Hi Andrew, your project sounds very interesting. Do you have a website on it.

As for Terry Prachett, I would suggest heading over to his website (you should be able to google) it and try to make contact there.

    Good Luck
