Thanksgiving In My Studio

October 11, 2009 by Chloe Findlay-Harder

It’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, which has inspired me to think about everything that I’m grateful for.

Of course, fiber is such a big part of my life that I’m thankful for it too.  Which lead me to thinking about all the things I’m thankful for in my studio…

thanksgiving

I’m thankful for sharp scissors and reliable sewing machines…

I’m thankful for fabric stores and pattern designers…

For paint, dye and every little embellishment under the sun…

I’m thankful for pattern designers and book publishers…

For bright lights, hot irons and lots of sturdy shelves…

And I’m thankful that I’ve got such lovely readers!

So what are you thankful for in your studio?  Even if you’re not celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, take a look around your studio or craft area.  What little gifts do you have in your fiber life?  Leave a comment and share them with the rest of us :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I’m in the US, so my Thanksgiving is next month. However, I am still thankful… for you and your blog, for all of my scrappy friends, for digital scrapping, for my laptops and pc, for my creativeness, and for my family and my loved ones!
