The product which we all think of when we
mention insulation is fiberglass. Fiberglass does irritate our respiratory track and requires us to install it using a mask. It also uses a formaldehyde bonding agent which can reduce air quality in the home. The fiberglass is itchy and the particles can become airborne. This is the negatives to a product that does keep use warm in the winter and saves us heating costs.
There is also a recycled denim cotton fiber insulation which is 85% recycled content. Some of the other features:
- Class-A Fire Rated
- No Itch or Skin Irritation
- Resists Mold, Mildew and Pests
- Superior Acoustical Properties
- Maximum Thermal Performance
- No Formaldehyde or Silica Material
- Sustainable Building Product
- Environmentally Safe
- Easy to Install
