The Bartered Wedding

If this is not a frugal person’s dream, I don’t know what is! If you think a bad economy means you can’t have the wedding of your dreams, think again. This couple actually bartered for services and items they wanted for their wedding.

Apparently they have a video and editing business, so they called around to see what people could do for them in exchange for work they could do with their business. The bride even borrowed the wedding dress to wear.

They estimate that the wedding that could have cost about $40,000 will now be closer to $3,000.
