Opened in 1912, Fenway Park in Boston is considered a “hitters’ ballpark", due to it’s short right-field fence at just 302 feet and the narrow foul lanes.  It’s the fourth smallest park in Major League Baseball, seating just under 40,000 fans.

Baseball great like Cy Young and Babe Ruth to Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski have called it home and racked up hit batting averages there.

The stadium has hosted not only baseball games, but also professional and college football games and soccer matches.

In 1940, Franklin Roosevelt made a famous campaign speech at Fenway Park, stating that he would not send American troops to fight in the war in Europe.
