The CDC does work with bloggers in comunicating key flu facts

I’ve recently been invited to a webinar for ‘flu’ bloggers, and others who talk/write about the flu to help us communicate key flu messages to our readers. Unfortunately, I missed the video but I did get the printed materials and I have to say it was helpful. Not everything was new, and most of the information were on the CDC website, but there were trends and graphical information that were new to me.
So in view of full disclosure, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is doing something to work with bloggers in spreading information about the flu. I guess that’s one tiny step to collaboration. I’d love to hear more about pandemic flu preparations though, and certainly the CDC will be helped by working directly with bloggers in disseminating information to the public.
