Self-cleaning clothes, made from wool and silk, no less?

Can’t even begin to imagine the possibility of spending less time with the washing machine, and the Shout, and the ketchup and soy sauce stains…….

    Weird! I don’t mind doing the laundry so much. It is the putting it away that I am truly terrible at.

    Interesting–having ruined silk on the first wearing, this is technology I can appreciate.

    Washing is one of those things that is actually kind of a social occasion for Eleanor and me…we do it together and have our tag-team system down.
    (But I’m with you Kristina, ironing is my bane. I usually have to blow half an inch of dust off of the iron on those occasions when forced to do it. But they’re great for Hama beads :-) . )

    I hesitate if it means more chemicals added to the fabric. Dry cleaning has its own issues — hmmm. I think I’ll stick to cotton blends.
