The Eco Lab

Well, we can’t do anniversary week all week. Today, something else.
Charlotte Skene-Catling is well known for her Dairy House – which is a completely amazing and lovely house, but I also really like her Eco Lab in London.
The Eco Lab, brain child of Skene-Catling had a goal of creating a visual imagery of ecological issues. The space, according to Charlotte Skene-Catling’s website, “Was an exploration of how all the senses can be addressed through architectural space. The interiors use only natural, green and recycled materials, but use lighting, digital printing, surface and smell to create a new aesthetic with an ideology.”
She pulled it off too. Flawlessly.

You have to see the blue walls up close – beautiful; plus it’s a must to see all the small touches that were added to the Eco Lab. It’s just a great collaboration of sights. See the entire Eco Lab. Actually, I’d visit the entire Charlotte Skene-Catling site, because it’s all worth seeing.
