The Enviro-Casket: The Green Way To The After Life

If you have been leaving the green life for years already and you still would want to contribute to the green movement even after your demise, then you may want to start thinking about using these Enviro-Caskets as your form of transportation to the other life.

This is a new product that is being offered in Canada and according to Caley Fergusion who is the VP for Northern Casket, the Enviro-Casket is a “sort of one last way to thank Mother Nature.”

What’s so special about them? Ferguson says, “They’re not going to be leaving anything behind once they’re dead and gone.” How can this be?

Well, Enviro-Caskets are very much unlike the usual caskets you can find. You see, these green caskets are made to use hinges and braces that are made of wood. Inside, you would find the fabric made from cotton to be plain, not bleached, and did not use any dyes. Everything is natural.

And in the span of 30 to 60 years, everything would be completely degraded and nothing would be left behind.

  1. Victoria says:

If you are going to go “green” with the casket, then why have a cushion and pillow for the person? They are dead! That wont biodegrade.

  2. Mario says:

Manafacturing the casket would just leave an unnecessary carbon footprint. Bury dead people in the sand.
