The extra mile

Mamacita has a nice post about taking her mother-in-law for daily radiation therapy treatments.

It’s so nice to hear about places that try to make you feel comfortable during stressful times.

The nurses at the hospital loved my mother.

Now, the fact that they all knew her indicates just how often we were there, but her “regulars” were so kind and gracious to her and there was even a housekeeper who would come check on her often.

Sometimes, small things really make the difference.
