The latest obsession here

Two weeks ago my oldest was on Spring Break. Then she was off for the entire following week with the flu. This week she’s been back at school but my youngest now has the early signs of bronchitis. I’m sick as well, so is my husband, and it’s Easter weekend. I am wiped out. In lieu of witty content, I present you with my little one’s new obsession.
In the Night Garden is a BBC show and it’s not new, but it’s new to us, having just recently been picked up by our Canadian children’s channel, Treehouse.
The first time I saw it I thought, “good lord, what is this crap?!” But my little one fell in love. She is insane over this show. One of the first things she’ll say upon waking up is, “Mommy, I like my show!” and then she talks about it all day long at random moments, until it finally comes on at 7:30. I like it because it plays right before bedtime, and the show ends with all the characters going to bed, so it’s really perfect timing – no more arguing about bed because she knows all her “friends” on the show are sleeping too.
If you haven’t seen it, here is one episode broken into four videos on YouTube. It’s growing on me I think, because now I find it kind of cute.
