The One From The Arabs

And so we have heard of various types of vehicles which get its juice from the sun. But come to think of it, this one has just gotta be one of the first of its kind.

What is it? Well, it is the very first car that is powered by solar energy and has been created by the Arab world. This vehicle has been the creation of a group of students studying engineering. They have been having help from one of their professors so as to be able to create such a vehicle.

After creating this ride, the group has decided that they would like to name it “Apollo’s Chariot”. When asked why they named it such, the group has disclosed that they used it “in reference to the Greek god of the sun”.

Apollo’s Chariot is made of steel and fiberglass. Only one person can take a ride in it. It measures 18 feet in length and is around six feet in width. It should be around 1,500 pounds when weighed.
