The Set Up, Part 1

What do you think about dating someone whom a friend or in this case, a sister, set you up with? Will you go through with it? Or will you tell your friend [or sister] to shove it?

The thing is I’m guilty of playing matchmaker between a friend [mine] and my dear younger brother who will remain nameless. He might probably ostracize me for ratting it out like this because he’s not the type who’d alert the media about anything regarding his life, let alone his love life. So, yea — bad sister.

BUT! Hear me out before you slap my fingers off the keyboard. I do have a reason why I’m doing this and the set up. First, he doesn’t have a clue I’m setting him up and yea, neither does my friend. Second, I am having doubts on whether I should go through with it or not. And third, uh — did I mention that they both have no idea of the pending set-up? Ack. Alright. Seriously, there’s no third reason. If there was, I forget. Heh.

So, I guess I’m just thinking out loud and as I do, I’m also hoping I’d get opinions. Please? Or ideas on how to fine tune the plan perhaps? Okay. Okay. I’m not pushing it.

Note: If you go back to the title of the post, you’ll notice that this is Part 1. Quite indicative of a sequel and then some.

I hope I’m doing the right thing. ;)
