The Set Up, Part 2

Okay, my plan didn’t work. Damn overtimes. Heh.

Now I’m not even sure if I want to go through with this for several reasons.

  • One, I don’t want my brother to get hurt.
  • Two, I don’t want my friend to get hurt either.
  • Three, I’m not sure if they really like each other.
  • Four, I feel that meddling in other people’s affairs will get me into trouble.
  • But that’s what makes it fun! Hehehe. Hey, wait a sec — why am I doing this again if they don’t like each other?! Ack. I’m crazy. Muahahaha. Nah. It’s just a gut feel on my part.

Ah, well. Back to the drawing board. Pffft.

If they don’t know they are being set up, that’s one thing.

I learned a LONG time ago that if I value a friendship, I don’t set them up with family (intentionally that is) – because it may just end up costing that friendship – should the relationship not work out and the friend not feel comfortable around you or your family any longer.

I LOVE playing cupid, but I try to keep it out of the family. You always have to have your family – but you choose your friends – which means they choose you too and they may just choose to nix your friendship should a relationship become awkward.
