The Seven Sins of Chocolate for Mom

I was in Barnes and Noble the other day and discovered a beautiful cookbook, The Seven Sins of Chocolate.
The book is written by French chocolatier and patisserie Laurent Schott. The recipes are incredible, from simple to complex and the photography is sinful. The book is refined and large. Not to be hidden on a shelf but to be placed on your coffee table.
The recipes are divided according to the 7 Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride.
From the Publisher:
Lavish and sensual, this deluxe new companion for chocolate lovers combines evocative, decadent photography with kitchen-friendly recipes, each grouped into one of seven sinful categories. Satisfy a lustful appetite with Pears Belle-Hélène, a proud streak with rich Profiteroles, or a fit of anger with Spiced Hot Chocolate-and prove that passion can only be gratified through indulgence.
This is a wonderful addition for any one who loves not only to cook and bake but also who appreciates the culinary arts.
So, don’t forget Mom this Mother’s Day….or yourself. The Seven Sins of Chocolate can be found at Barnes and Noble, Amazon and other booksellers.
