The Simple Life

Another aspect of keeping a journal I really enjoy is the simplicity of it all. There’s nothing simpler than picking up a pen, opening a notebook and beginning to write. The audience is you alone. There’s no one to impress or convince. You can express or unleash your feelings.
You can do this activity anywhere, so long as you’re comfortable. I enjoy journal writing while sprawled out on my bed, or tucked behind a small table at my favourite café. You don’t need to rely on electric power, phone lines, or a complicated piece of machinery.
The entry might be a simple one, but I think sometimes we forget just how simple keeping a journal is meant to be.
