You know that they have lawyers who specialize in Special Education Law? Not just education law- but actual special education law. And they are in high demand!!! In my state, many if not most parents who get private therapeutic day school placements or residential placements have to get a lawyer.

Against. I will do anything to avoid the public school system again. Lots of well meaning teachers but the red tape makes it so difficult.

  4. @Naydi, I’ve ben on and off trying to convince a friend’s fiancé—he just finished law school—to go into special ed law!
