The Sun Could Make You Cross Safely

An accident researcher from Australia, Dr. Eric Wigglesworth, is currently claiming that the numbers of people dying because of collisions and crashes at railway crossings could go down. And to do that, warning systems must use solar power. It does not only let the whole country save on power but it also tells people of an approaching train.

Wigglesworth also did continue to say that putting on solar lights and bells at these railway crossings would prove to be much cheaper compared to using those that are powered by the city’s electricity. And if they come cheaper, it means that there would be more money to use to put up more lights and bells at the different railways in the country.

This scholar from the Monash University which is in Melbourne also did some calculations. He says that to put up such solar powered warning systems, it would cost around $40,000 – $50,000 for each railway crossing.
