Swimming pools need to be heated. After all, who would want to do their strokes in a pool that can be quite chilly. And so officials of Menasha have looked up at the sun as a possible source of heat for their swimming pool. After all, solar power can be really powerful and could help in heating a pool.
The possibilities of using solar power have gone up with Green Sky Energetics, a green company, has already taken a look at the swimming pool located in Jefferson Park. They are already estimating if the use of solar power would be feasible.
Brian Tungate, the director of the area’s Parks and Creation, have mentioned, “Our natural gas bill at the pool is probably going to be $25,000 or more this year.” And so if this project does become reality, they would be able to save much in the long run. I’m crossing my fingers for them.
