The Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure

Tomorrow I will be getting up super early (before six AM) to go to my local Race For the Cure. I already have my T-shirt and number, although I don’t have a chip because I won’t be racing competitively. For me, this is a way to get some good exercise (it’s a 5k) and support a worthy cause.
This is actually the first time I’ve done this race, although every time it rolls around I find myself thinking, “I should really do that…but who would I do it with?” This year I’ll be with my in-laws, so I won’t have to go by myself.
You can visit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure site for more information about the races (although I see that they’ve already taken place in most cities).
Speaking of breast cancer awareness, Dexie over at Style It Less is having a “Show Me Your Pink Stuff” contest. Prizes include some of my favorite drugstore beauty items by the brand Yes To Carrots. You can find out more about it here.
Good luck!
