The Swine Flu Linked to GM French Fries?

This totally sounds like an urban legend and should really be considered as such. But, it is newsworthy.
According to a quote through the Examiner, Russian scientists secretly warned Prime Minister Putin about a “critical link” between the H1N1 Influenza virus and genetically modified amylopectin potatoes which are sold in Western countries as french fries.
The report goes on to say that the genetically changed protease enzyme in the potatoes is so stored in the host cells (that’s us, humans who eat the fries) that our cells’ contact with an H1N1 virus creates an explosion in the viral envelope. The protein causes an acidic environment for the virus that explodes its envelope and releases the H1N1 RNA and core proteins into the host cell.
Majority of cases of H1N1 infections have been found in Western countries such as the US, Canada, UK and Australia, where genetically modified french fries are consumed the most. Moreover, the young adult population is worst hit by the swine flu; the same segment of population that loves to consume fries.
At least that’s what the report claims.

I do not believe this theory about genetically modified potatoes. I think that the virus has been circulating for years in hogs. The human population and animals need to be more closely monitored to avoid a more deadly virus that would have devastating effects. It was only a matter of time before a virus as such surfaced that was capable of infecting the human poulation. Hopefully, with this H1N1 virus we have dodged a bullet, at least this time!
This is exactly why the united states is in the middle of a cancer and obesity epidemic. Thisis why we can’t afford health care and are all sick and dying at earlier ages with each successive generation. We have sold our entire exsistance to the for profit food companies that are using GM HFCS and GM corn and GM potato’s to posion our future populations just to make more money now. Every time we let our guard down someone come in and causes us sever harm for the love of money. It’s time to really change this country and through out every lobby including these powerful chemical and factory food producers.
I’m not taking chances. BK has said they don’t use GM potatoes for their fries; McD won’t discuss it. Hmmmmm…
We probably shouldn’t be eating any fries, anyway, but I definitely am going to stay away from the M ones.
There was a swine flu in the 70’s too, a big deal was made and the vaccines killed and messed up alot of people. H1n1 is a man-made bio weapon to make money, these companies don’t care about your health or your family.
wrong, this is a man made time bomb, this virus mutate, (already has)and will prove to be very resilient; and infect most of the western world, where these potatoes are grown and consumed.Google; MINA breaking news, for original news clip. A very simple machine has been devised to eliminate viruses from the blood, electrically, a coulple of electrodes placed on the skin used with a simple electronic circuit, kills viruses and nasties in the blood, with out transfusion.
