The Vitality Compass Challenge – You Want Dat Wit?**

I did it.

I took Healthbolt’s Vitality Compass Challenge.

In fact, I actually took it twice. Once including my cancer diagnosis (even though it was 20+ years ago) in my answers; the second time not. Confessing my cancer actually gave me a lesser “biological age” (27.5 vs. 28.7). Both are younger than I am so I am cool with that. My life expectancy was boosted by a year or two by not confessing (97 vs. 97.2). Both were higher than the last time I played a longevity game, so once again, bonus.

It was my “healthy life expectancy” that made me gasp the first time around (34! That’s like, NOW) and try again (83.2. much better). With cancer, my “blue zone years” is 18. Without, 15.

Want to know how you rate? Go to BlueZone.com’s Vitality Compass and compute it for yourself. It’s is a like a mini-health risk assessment and takes just a few minutes. Go ahead, take it a few times and see how adding/subtracting eating and other life habits can alter your results.

**Dat Wit – Philadelphia slang for asking for your cheesesteak “with” cheese “sauce” (aka cheez whiz).
