The world’s best value

What do you get for 250 yen, about $2.50, today.  I can buy almost 2 liters of gas, almost a starbucks coffee, or a train ticket across Tokyo.  That is, unless you go tho the Obento shop at the bust corner of Asakusa right next to 2 of the entrances to the Tsukuba Express.

At this particular shop you can buy your choice of about a dozen different Obento.  Ranging from tonkatsu, salmon cutlet, hamburger, or fish all for the beautiful price of 250 yen.

Does anyone know of a better value dinner in Tokyo?  For a cooked on the spot, delicious and big dinner I think it would be hard to beat, but I’m looking forward to trying out anything you can recommend.  Any takers?
