There’s a fork through my nose!

Pictures like these are worth a thousand words…
of WARNING!

Here’s what actually happened -
“It’s real. Happened July 11th in Minneapolis at a chinese buffet restaurant. He was climbing into the booth and fell while holding his fork in his hand. When the waiter picked him up from under the table the fork was through his nose. There was only a little blood because the fork tines missed all of the cartilage in his nose (Thank God). The one picture is from the ER and the other picture is two days later at home. The ER doctor and ENT doctor we saw the following day said that they had never seen this before and that we were pretty lucky that the fork went up and out through his nose. We saved the fork and this picture for him to see when he gets older. We emailed the pics to our family, coworkers and friends and now they are all over the internet. Live and learn I guess.”
Lesson learned – don’t let kids play or run with any sharp objects, forks included!

I want to first say I am very sorry that this had to happen to you. As a parent myself this must have been terribly frightening and you had to be beside yourself. We live and learn the hard way when our children get hurt. Secondly, I must say that by you having the courage to send these pics around, my children, 7 and 11 are CONSTANTLY reminded of these photos when the fool around at the table. Hard lessons learned are always good lessons learned from all.
So, thank you for sharing these with all of us concerned parents. KUDOS.

thank god he didn’t cut his nose off then he’d half to get plastick sugery!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!THat looks like that hurt really REALLY bad I feel so bad for you!
Recently my 16 month old pulled the bottom drawer out of the dishwasher and started pushing it around. When my wife tried to stop him, so that she could take it away before he got hurt he fell face first onto the rack. One of the prongs that hold the dishes went up his nose, and I had to take him to the ER. Thank goodness it only gave him a very bloody nose. Just one more of those childhood hazards that we overlook until it’s to late.
i hope you will be better sweety, you dont deserve what happen to you really
god bless you forever
Omg!!…..I know not to run with sharp objects ever again!!!
