This Will Probably Be My Toughest Theme Day

Our tradition at the Science and Health channel here at b5 media has become to have a theme day the first Thursday of every month (for those who are newcomers). All of us in the channel go to extensive lengths (sometimes it takes two weeks just to arrange the flight schedules) to meet, discuss, debate, argue, fight, pick straws, etc., to “pick” a topic and we all write on that same topic for the day.

Here’s last month’s entry from A Dozen Steps (that’s me) which was about “Being A Part Of…”

Now – why would I mention that? Well, because these “knuckleheads” I work with here at b5, especially that Hsien Hsien person (laffin’) decided that this month I ought to show some link love to one special Blog related to Recovery from Alcoholism. Which means I have to choose one above all others in my alky mind and link back to them. Geeeeeesh! So, now I have to “eliminate” (read – judge) all those who don’t measure up and determine who deserves my exalted link love. Hah! These “earthlings” – they just don’t get it.

I’m not about to take the risk to alienate any of my new friends. They all have wonderful recovery Blogs and pour their hearts and souls into them for the Primary Purpose of Staying Sober and helping others to achieve Sobriety. We are each but a grain of sand on the beach, equal, one not better or worse than the other. There will be no choosing here…

So, what the heck do I do? (Hsien, I know this may sound like I’ve misunderstood – trust that I haven’t and have a good laff okay? – geeesh). Trust God, Clean House, Help Others. Yep! That’s the deal folks!

I’ll be darned! There is a place already on the www that has done the work for me!
