Thought for the Day… Be committed

Here is something that we can teach our pre-teens and then hope that they carry it with them into adulthood. It’s all about being commited. If they can do what it takes to make their dream come true, chances are, they can have what they want.

Most kids of this age have a “hero” that they simply can’t get enough of. If the hero is suitable in your mind, suggest that your child look into his or her background. What did he do to get there? Did he give it his all or did success simply fall into his lap?

Chances are that this “hero” worked very hard to find success and it just might make an impression on a child who wants something special in his future. Who knows, your little push just might create the next famous brain surgeon!
