Three-O Root Beer Float Drinks Recipes

Did you know that tomorrow, August 6th, is National Root Beer Float Day? Leave it to Three Olives Vodka to start the party. Three-O actually just released a root beer flavored vodka. Wouldn’t it be apropos to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day with delicious drinks?
Three-O Root Beer Float
2 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
4 oz. root beer
Float 1 scoop vanilla ice cream on top
Root Beer Floatini
1.5 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
.5 oz. Amaretto liqueur
Shake hard over ice & strain into glass
Float a melon-ball size scoop of vanilla ice cream in center
Interestingly enough, I am not a root beer drinker at all. The only time I have a taste of root beer is when I am actually having a root beer float. But I have had vodka shots and cocktail drinks with vodka in it many many times. Root beer flavored vodka? Sure why not? The two recipes above sounds very intriguing and delicious. Would I drink them? Heck yeah. We’re celebrating National Root Beer Float Day after all
